They found it impossible black hole
The largest known to date a black hole in the center of the galaxy NGC 1277, recently discovered by American scientists from the University of Texas at Austin, can completely change old ideas about the evolution of galaxies, says German magazine Die Zeit.
If you believe the current theories, new black hole, which contains 17 billion times more matter than the Sun, and occupies about 14% of the lenticular galaxies, as reported American and German scientists in Nature, simply can not exist in such a small galaxy. Ultimately, the "tentacles" of supermassive black giant 11 times greater than the orbit of Neptune, and the mass of the galaxy in which it is located, is 10 times less than the mass of our own Milky Way.
Astrophysicist Professor Karl Gebhardt of the University of Austin believes that this case "is about a really strange phenomenon, probably the first of its kind", as was previously thought that the mass of the black hole should be about one-tenth the mass of the galaxy, writes Die Zeit.
